Neighbourhood Management Focus Group
A number of keen resident representatives together with South Essex Homes and Southend City Council are committed to the development of resident involvement to ensure that the service is continuously improved. To this end, it was agreed that a Focus Group would be formed which would look specifically at the issues relating to estates, anti-social behaviour (ASB) and tenancy services, bringing residents and managers together to review performance, discuss priorities, and agree practical ways to improve the neighbourhood.
The Objectives of this group are:
1. Identify service issues affecting the neighbourhood, including estates, anti-social behaviour (ASB) and tenancy services.
2. Provide a safe and open space for residents to raise concerns and share their experiences.
3. Bring residents and managers together to review services and discuss performance.
4. Agree practical and realistic improvements to neighbourhood services.
5. Continue to strengthen how anti-social behaviour (ASB) is managed and communicated with residents.
6. Strengthen communication and trust between residents and staff.
7. Support joint problem-solving to improve the overall quality of life in the neighbourhood.
Meetings will be held every 4 weeks. Next meeting 23rd April 26
